About NBCCU

North Birmingham Community Credit Union (NBCCU) was formed in April 2005 as a result of a merger between four existing credit unions serving the North Birmingham area. These were:

  • Castle Vale
  • Erdington & District
  • Kingstanding
  • Sutton Coldfield

The merger brought together over twenty years of experience in the credit union field, and has increased the level of services offered to people living or working in the North Birmingham area.

NBCCU has continued to grow, increasing our area to include Saltley and Chelmsley Wood and introducing new services to members.
