You can join at a local collection point or at the Birmingham Credit Union shop in Erdington.

When you join you need to:

• attend in person
• complete an application form (or you can get this from a collection point or the Erdington shop)
• provide two forms of ID with at least one showing your current address
• pay a joining fee of £1.50
• make a payment to open your account (minimum of £1.00)

Acceptable forms of ID:

• Passport
• Driving License
• Medical Card
• Cheque Guarantee card
• Employment ID card (with photograph)
• National Insurance Card
• Recent Bank or Building Society statement
• Travel Pass (with photograph)
• Pay Slip or Letter from employer
• Rent book
• Recent utility bill (gas, electric, water)

Additionally, if you are joining because you work in the North Birmingham but live elsewhere we require your most recent pay slip or a letter from your employer.
